Open Studio Project works with multiple local school districts to craft after school programs that stimulate and engage students with creative and energizing outlets. Our after school classes follow an open art studio model that provides students with multiple modalities and allows for freedom of choice and expression within the parameters of provided materials. This type of structure has proven successful in after school environments where students are looking for an open and inviting space to play, experiment, release tension, connect with others and process events from the day. We aim to allow students artistic freedom and provide a safe space where they can fully be themselves.
