Our vision for our community and our capacity for action |
 |
| |
We envision a community where people of all backgrounds can positively influence their own and each other’s lives through the simple act of making art. Our Open Studio Process and award-winning Art & Action program (for youth placed at risk) have received national attention, a testament to our impact on Evanston, Chicago, and the wider community. |

OSP is extremely efficient and financially responsible, providing a terrific community investment opportunity for our fiscal supporters. A staff of 5 and a group over 30 dedicated volunteers provide 14 ongoing programs, serving approximately 110 people each week. In addition, our gallery hosts 11 exhibits every year. Including presentations, lectures, workshops, and gallery events, we provide, over 1000 hours of high quality arts programming, annually. Join the growing list of foundations, corporations, community organizations, and individuals who support our capacity to bring the profound benefits of creativity to the community. |

We are respected and honored - we are capable |

For more than 17 years, Open Studio Project has provided dynamic, award-winning arts programming in a welcoming atmosphere. Our staff includes nationally recognized educators, and a course is taught on our arts methodology at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As a model arts & social service organization, we’ve provided consulting for many individuals and groups seeking to start similar studios around the world. In addition to articles and books referring to our work, we have been nominated for the Alford Axelson Award for Non-profit Managerial Excellence, and have received the Evanston Mayor’s Award for Art Organization of the Year. |

OSP offers an experience unmatched by other art organizations in the Chicagoland area, one that is valued dearly by participants and investors alike. We welcome your contribution, no matter the size. |
